We are excited to bring back Farm to Table Cooking Classes presented by Lori Johnson, Family & Consumer Science Agent, UF/IFAS Extension, Lake County! Each class will feature a seasonal produce item and you will learn about nutrition and health benefits, best practices for storage, and healthy cooking ideas. A cooking demonstration will take place each week with sampling. A recipe card will be provided to each participant to take home.

eptember 27th: Not Your Average Corn
This class will feature corn and its use in flavorful side dishes.

October 4th: Turn Up the Heat with Okra
This class will feature flavoring okra with different spices.

October 18th: Going Greek with Black-Eyed Peas
This class will feature pairing fresh veggies with black-eyed peas for flavorful side dishes.

November 8th: Bring on the Conch Peas
