About Long & Scott Farms, Inc.

History of Long & Scott Farms       Equipment for Sale
A message from the Scott Family...

At Long & Scott Farms, our first - and last - commitment - is to our valued customers.  Thank you for your continued support and for helping us continue to bring our products from our farm to your table.  We are proud to be in our fourth generation of farming and continuing our long tradition of growing fine produce.

At the farm, everyone is committed to growing and shipping the finest quality produce.  Each member of our highly qualified and dedicated staff and management team at our corporate office has an important role in the
successful operation of the farm. From land preparation, through planting, growing, harvest and shipping, each member of our organization recognizes the importance of satisfying our consumers.

Our state-of-the-art facility and machinery help ensure the finest quality produce leaves the farm.  So much so that today, our corn can be found in the finest gourmet and specialty stores and our cucumbers are available in
major  terminal markets throughout the country and are bottled by Claussen Pickle Co., United Pickle Products, Mt. Olive Pickles, Puckered Pickle, Chipico/Vienna Beef, Strub Bro's, and many mom-and-pop companies in the Northeast and Chicago.  Even the coleslaw you're eating may be from our Fresh Market cabbage. The farm also now grows 300 acres of Sod each year to meet the needs of local landscapers and developers.

But don't just take our word for it - put us to the test. Buy the Scott's Brand "Fresh from Florida" produce from your local grocer. If you don't see "Fresh From Florida" produce ask for it, insist on it, or get it direct from Long And Scott Farms at Scott's Country Market, open in the spring (May) and the Fall (Oct & Nov).
